A note from Rev. Don Sensing

During this time of social distancing, Greenbrier and Gideon United Methodist Churches are not gathering for in-person worship. By necessity, we are offering worship online, as are thousands of other churches across the country.

I had posted our worship videos on my personal blog, and then posted a link to each blog post on our Facebook page, as well as sending it by email to the people of the churches. I also shared it on Facebook local-community pages and the page of my own neighborhood.

And Facebook deleted all those posts, informing me that those posts violated its standards. My protests have been met with only silence.

So I am trying again here. However, I will post actual live links on FB only on Greenbrier UMC's page, and will resort to plain-language links (not live links) anywhere else on FB. The videos, btw, are hosted on YouTube.

May the grace of God, the mercy of Jesus Christ his son, and the comfort and strengthening presence of the Holy Spirit be with you all!
